- Are Chocolate Log plush toys safe?
- All Chocolate Log plush toys are handmade with the utmost care and love by us. Since our plush toys and other products are limited collector’s items they are as much artworks as they are stuffed toys. They may contain fragile stitching and potentially hazardous plastic parts, they are not intended as play things, pet toys or for children 3 and under. Chocolate Log or any of its companies and the Artists cannot be held responsible for any harm or injury that may be caused directly or indirectly by a Chocolate Log or any chocolate-log.com merchandise.
- I hate taxes, but you charge them. Why?
- Sorry but residents and addresses within New Zealand will have 12.5% GST added to any order. Customers outside of New Zealand do not pay tax.
What is GST you ask? Well some people call it Get Stuffed Turkey but the Government call it a Goods & Services Tax.
Also the buyer is responsible for any customs charges your friendly government may charge you. We don’t have any control over this.
- What are these plush things made of?
- Chocolate Log plush toys are almost always hand made with new materials using wool & acrylic felt, synthetic fleece, plastic eyes, thread and high grade polyester filling material for stuffing. As far as we know all materials are non-toxic, but they may or may not be non-allergenic.
- What is your return policy?
- Quite simple: All sales are final because the most of items that are featured on this site are almost always handmade. They lie somewhere between art, craft and stuffed character/animal. Slight variations are to be expected, whether in size, shape and colour. Should you find a MAJOR imperfection in your item, please contact us to see what can be done, but shipping the returned item is your responsibility.
- When will I receive my order?
- All products are shipped via NZ Post International Airmail unless otherwise noted. Shipments are normally made on weekdays. Orders generally take 2 to 5 business days to process, though depending on what you order it may take longer. Delivery to key destinations is estimated at approximately 3 – 10 working days from the date of shipment.
- Do you have a Mailing List I can sign up with?
- Yes, we do and it’s a great way to keep up to date with the latest developments and products. We fully respect your privacy and will never ever share your details with anyone. When your purchase a product we will automatically add you on to our mailing list but you are free and retain the right to unsubscribe at any time and we will stop sending you emails.
